At home we encounter the familiar, which doesn’t exclude the mystical and uncanny. There, a Goldies hit mix reaches us that doesn’t necessarily thrill a wide range of people but reliably satisfies them. Between heart, love and Internet, the question of how I fight my way through – no money in my pocket – leads back to the individual fate between morbidly cheerful pug skulls, morning cigarettes and bizarre furniture. The space of the daddy-long-legs is characterized by perceptible human-thing relationships and figures that persist in their search for themselves and their connections to the outside world. Instead of spinning their own webs, daddy-long-legs settle into found hiding places. Unlike most arachnids, they are quite social creatures and like to come together in groups before setting off again with their long legs.
