Hyperlink Athens presents Void Effigies of Star Children, an online audiovisual exhibition with participants from all over the world. Twelve artists present their work in audiovisual format on cyberspace. The inspiration for these twelve music videos comes from the current pandemic period and the notion of isolationism. The music styles that are included within this exhibition come from the fields of black metal, ambient, noise, drone, world, and experimental.

Hyperlink had the intention to present the project live in an old 1950s Athenian theatre but due to the pandemic, it was decided to move the exhibition to the digital realm and present it as an online event (an attempt to resist to this situation until we can meet again).

‘’This is a constant reminder of a bygone era that all physical performances were not possible due to a global virus outbreak. Hyperlink Athens presents 12 live performances from musicians that are scattered across the world via the digital realm of the internet.’’
Hyperlink Athens is an art collective that redefines the notion of the final presentation in an attempt to promote alternate ways of communicating art.
