An expression of the disjunction between ever-evolving technological processes and the urgent need to reduce/reuse/recycle in order to save our environment, in the form of a superfluous item of vanity that romanticizes the dire need of collaboration between these two elements of the zeitgeist. 23ct. flash diamond harvested from single-use film cameras, set in 3D printed 316L surgical grade stainless steel, partly polished. Box may vary. The ring is produced with a highly advanced manufacturing process which sinters stainless-steel-dust into a solid object through the use of lasers. The texture on the non-polished parts of the ring is a byproduct of this manufacturing process.
